Te Ruma o Nga Whetu (Preschool 2, 4 years – 6 years)
Children enjoy being a part of an environment where they are respected as capable and competent individuals can make their own choices and use their voice to direct their experiences in our room knowing that their voice is valued here. The resources, activities provided provokes a sense of curiosity that ensures our environment plays a vital role as a third teacher. Our setting supports the development of healthy relationships between children, teachers, parents and whanau, where we all collaborate and work together to implement a challenging learning curriculum for our tamariki. This emphasises the value of respectful relationships and children learn to develop empathy for others as well as taking responsibility for the wellbeing of themselves and of others. It also creates a platform for children to develop their social-emotional competencies, explore effective ways of communicating supporting skills necessary for life beyond the centre. The beginning stages of being school ready.
All the teachers rock! We can't thank you enough for everything you do for our kids - they all absolutely adore you.
The Scribbles team feel like family to us we always feel welcomed when we come in. If any help is needed please do not hesitate to ask... we are always happy to help if we can. Keep up the great work.
I love all of the lovely staff at Scribbles, they really do feel like a happy family down there. And I love that they make my little girl feel like part of it. She loves it and at the end of the day that's all that matters. Thank you so much for everything.
My son has been at Scribbles since November 2015 and I am very happy with the service we get. The teachers are very nurturing/caring and that's what I ask for my baby. His career is fantastic, lovely and kind and he just loves seeing her each morning. Nellie runs a great ship and staff seem to be happy in what they do.
